The free app must run a real show
Local audio import, your library and setlists, One Shot, Continuous playback, stage controls, notes, themes, and the current Band Sync workflow remain part of the free core. Panic, Restart and wait, interruption protection, and access to your own audio and setlist data will not become paid safety features.
Pro tools in Internal Testing
- Non-destructive audio tools: per-entry trim, waveform preview, gain and fades, preserving the original audio file.
- More flexible control: saved keyboard and HID controller mappings, captured when a Gig starts.
Code13 includes these tools for verified Pro testers. Physical-controller and audible audio-edit acceptance remain in progress. Pad Mode and read-only Band Focus are implemented in the next local candidate, but are not yet delivered through Google Play. Pad taps start or restart one sound at a time, with an optional arm-then-Play setup choice. Basic Band Sync remains free. Future hardware and hosted services are separate projects, not included promises.
Controller development preview
The Internal Testing build includes a key-learning editor for verified Pro users: press a supported keyboard or HID pedal key, choose its action, and save or reset the assignment. Choices include Play / Pause, Next, Previous, and Restart & Wait. Escape and F12 remain fixed Panic keys; volume, Back, and power keys cannot be reassigned.
Each Gig keeps the controller assignments it started with, so a later settings change cannot remap a key mid-set. Automated checks cover saved assignments and per-Gig behavior; they do not certify a particular physical pedal. MIDI and polyphonic playback are not included.
Portable sets development preview
The Internal Testing build can export and import a verified ZIP containing a set’s original audio, track order, notes, artwork, and per-entry trim, gain, and fades. Import creates a new set rather than overwriting an existing one. Basic backup and recovery remain free; they are not a reason to buy Pro.
Local transfer, cancellation, low-storage failure and process-restart recovery have automated coverage. Full receiving-device, maximum-size and remote-provider acceptance remain separate. See Support for safe use, and rehearse imported sets before performing.
Offline means show-ready
Internal Testing has verified purchase restoration and offline use of previously verified Pro access. A venue internet connection is not required to operate the free show player. Store controls stay outside the performance screen; your original audio remains yours.
Purchase and restore status
Purchase and restore are enabled only in the approved Internal Testing build. Testers must see Google’s no-charge test instrument before confirming any sandbox checkout; restoring an existing entitlement does not require buying again. Public sales are not open. We do not collect payment-card details, take deposits, or require a website account.
