IntroPlayer is designed around the seconds before and during a live set: readable information, deliberate controls, and local playback that does not need the internet.
Performance essentials
- Offline audio import: choose MP3 or WAV cues from Android’s document picker. IntroPlayer copies managed app-private files so a cloud account is not part of playback.
- One Shot: each assigned cue plays once per performance pass unless you deliberately reset it. Nothing autoplays when a track finishes.
- Setlist editing: create songs, add notes, assign cues, and reorder entries with visible drag handles or accessible Up/Down actions.
- Portrait and landscape: stage views adapt to both orientations with large current-track and next-track context.
- Stage themes: Primitive Red is the default; Stage High Contrast requests full window brightness and restores the prior behavior when you leave it.
Pre-show protection
IntroPlayer checks audio routing, notification access, alarms, and timers before a performance. Interruption Guard uses notification metadata locally to identify likely call, alarm, and timer risks. Active cues are designed to continue through ordinary audio-focus interruptions; a disconnected wired audio route stops playback deliberately to avoid blasting through the tablet speaker.
Band Sync
Pre-release Band Sync lets one Host share setlist order, current position, notes, theme, and an optional graphic with read-only Listener devices on the same local network. The Host remains the only device that plays audio. A Listener cannot start, stop, or otherwise control Host playback.
Not included
IntroPlayer does not currently include StageBox, MIDI, cloud sync, waveform editing, trim/fades/gain, pad mode, subscriptions, purchases, ads, analytics, or account login.
