IntroPlayer is built with open-source Android and Kotlin components. Runtime dependencies are locked and reviewed as part of release preparation.
Apache License 2.0 components
- AndroidX Media3 ExoPlayer
- AndroidX Room, DataStore, Activity Compose, Compose UI/Foundation, Material 3, Lifecycle, Core, and Annotation components
- Kotlin standard/runtime components and Kotlin Coroutines
These components are licensed under the Apache License 2.0.
Build and test tooling
Gradle, Android Gradle Plugin, Kotlin build tooling, KSP, Room compiler/testing, AndroidX Test, and Kotlin Coroutines Test use the Apache License 2.0. JUnit 4 uses the Eclipse Public License 1.0.
Platform services
Band Sync uses Java and Android platform networking, hashing, discovery, and image-decoding APIs. The app does not bundle a proprietary codec pack, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, billing runtime, or third-party cloud client.
