Free readiness checks development preview
Use the Setlists setup checks for battery and media-volume readings. Warnings flag low battery, muted or zero media sound, and low media volume. Tap Check now to refresh. These checks do not change your volume, block Enter Gig, or add a banner to the performance screen.
A tablet’s volume reading cannot confirm the amplifier, mixer, cable, or speaker level. Test the actual output before performing, and check active alarms and timers separately. Hardware volume keys target media sound even while playback is idle; the app does not choose the level for you.
Portable sets development preview
In the Internal Testing build, leave Gig mode, select a set in Setlists, and tap Export set. Choose a destination in Android’s save picker and wait for Set package saved. To bring a package in, tap Import set and select its ZIP. Wait for Set imported, then check the new set’s order and edits and rehearse on the receiving device. Repeated imports create additional sets.
A failed or cancelled export may leave an incomplete destination file; do not treat it as a backup. Cancel transfer can show Waiting for storage to stop… while a storage provider finishes an in-progress operation. Gig entry stays unavailable until the worker stops. If an import was interrupted, check Setlists before retrying because the completed set may already exist.
Packages contain original audio and set data, not purchases, device settings, or Bluetooth connection secrets. Keep backups in storage you trust and share only material you have permission to share. Basic backup and recovery remain free. Do not replace a proven show setup immediately before performing.
Keyboard and pedal troubleshooting
A pedal must send supported keyboard/HID input to control playback. Bluetooth audio output, a Bluetooth Band Sync connection, and a paired HID controller are different functions; success with one does not establish that the others are connected.
Test the controller in Gig mode using a disposable practice set before relying on it onstage. The default controls include Space or Enter for Play, S for Stop, Page Down / Page Up for Next / Previous, and Escape or F12 for Panic. Do not assume every pedal sends the same keys.
Verified Pro testers can open Appearance → Controllers, choose Assign a key, and press the controller key. Select an action and verify it in a practice Gig. Reset key restores that key’s default behavior; Reset all requires confirmation. Saved changes apply to the next Gig, not a set already in progress. Test your actual controller; automated key checks do not certify particular pedals.
For a controller report, include its make/model, USB or Bluetooth connection, the key it sends if known, your intended action, and whether one press, holding the key, or releasing it causes the problem. Do not send pairing secrets. See the Pro development status for preview limitations.
