IntroPlayer

Privacy

IntroPlayer’s core Android workflow is local. The app does not require an account and does not include advertising or analytics SDKs.

Android app data

When you choose audio, IntroPlayer copies the selected file into app-private storage for offline playback. Setlists, notes, cue assignments, preferences, playback state, and imported graphics are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage can remove that data.

Android’s optional system-backup service may back up the app database and preferences according to your device and Google account settings. IntroPlayer excludes imported audio and setlist graphics from Android cloud backup and device transfer. Primitive Recordings does not operate or receive the Android system backup.

Interruption Guard can use Android notification-access metadata locally to recognize likely calls, alarms, and timers. IntroPlayer does not upload notification content to Primitive Recordings.

Band Sync sends the active setlist, notes, state, theme, and an optional graphic between devices you connect on the same local network. The feature does not use a Primitive cloud service. People or systems with access to that local network may still present network risks, so use a trusted network or your own hotspot.

Website and support data

The support form collects the name, email address, subject, and message you submit. It stores the request privately in this site’s WordPress database so the support team can respond. A short-lived keyed hash derived from the request’s network address is used for rate limiting; the form does not store that address in the support record.

Transactional notification email may be delivered through MXroute SMTP when configured. We do not use support details for newsletters or advertising. Routine server security logs may include technical request data such as an IP address, user agent, URL, and time.

Retention and choices

Support requests and operational logs are retained only as reasonably needed to answer requests, protect the service, keep business records, and meet legal obligations. You may use the support form to request access, correction, or deletion, subject to applicable recordkeeping requirements.

Children and changes

IntroPlayer is a general-purpose performance tool and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this notice as the product changes; the effective date above identifies the current version.
